INTRODUCTION
The online website https://www.agilethinkers.academy/ is governed according to the terms and conditions set forth herein, which the Customer undertakes to comply with. Agile Thinkers may, at any time, change all or part of the terms and conditions set forth herein.
Thank you for considering Agile Thinkers to support you with your Learning & Development requirement. The following document contains some useful information about our course booking process along with our terms and conditions. We recommend reading this document as it outlines the process and conditions that apply to all scheduled events and govern your relationship with Agile Thinkers.

Training Policy
PUBLIC COURSES
Through our sales team:
- Our sales team will send a quote with all the information according to what was defined
- The quote is sent through our system named Odoo
- You can request at any time Client Portal Access where you can find all information about quotes, sales orders, invoices and many more. You can also exchange messages directly with the Sales Representative
- In order to move forward and confirm your registration we need your validation through
the menu that you find in your quote on the left side of the screen saying Accept and
sign
Through our website:
- Completing and submitting an event registration form via our website
Payment for your event can be made via Credit Card or Wire Transfer.
We require full payment of your event fees in advance of your training. This will usually be required 7 working days prior to your event start date. However, when a course is in high demand we may contact you to request payment sooner.
Your event registration[s] is only confirmed on receipt of full payment of the fees due. Until this
time your course place is considered by us as provisional and can be cancelled or transferred at
any time. It is your responsibility to ensure event fees are paid ahead of your training. We reserve
the right to withhold exam registration and membership to the course certifying body until full
payment is received.
In 30 days (This period may change according special agreements established previously with corporate customers). Please make sure you provide all the correct billing information at the time of the registration.
If your company has a purchase order process, we need to receive the PO number before any dates are booked.
If your company requires any supplier form to be filled in, this should be handled before any
dates are booked.
Reschedule to a new date by the customer:
You may reschedule your event booking, for a maximum of 9 months, if requested with more than 30 days in advance of the service.
Requests made less than 30 days from the date of the service will need valid justification and is subject to approval.
If you wish to transfer to a course of higher value, you will be required to pay the difference in price and/or the administration fee at the time of instructing the transfer. If the course you are transferring to is of lower value, the original booking price will still be payable.
Cancelation by the customer:
You can cancel your event booking, if requested with more than 30 days in advance of the service.
Requests made less than 30 days from the date of the service will need valid justification and is subject to approval.
No-shows:
If you fail to attend to the event without any communication, all fees already paid will be forfeit and you will not be able to attend a new course without payment of extra fees.
Refunds when requested by the customer:
Refund orders are accepted up to 30 consecutive days after the purchase. If the purchase was made less than 30 days from the date of the service, there will be no refund. If PayPal, Stripe fees or any other fees were charged, those costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
All requests for rescheduling, cancelations and refunds must be sent to the email [email protected] to be validated.
Cancelation by The Agile Thinkers:
If an event is canceled or postponed by The Agile Thinkers decision, we will tell you as soon as possible. When contacting you, we will provide you with details of options available. Options will include the same training course in a different date, a different course from Agile Thinkers training portfolio or a full refund of your pre-paid fees.
Special requests | Allowances:
Please let us know if you have any access or support requirements when attending your event

If you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with your event arrangements,
before, during or after the course, you must immediately inform our training team.
PRIVATE COURSES
Through our sales team:

Make sure we have all the correct billing information during the quote and acceptance
process.
If your company requires any supplier form to be filled in, this should be handled before any
dates are booked.
If your company has a purchase order process, we need to receive the PO number before any
dates are booked.
We will issue the invoice in full after quote is accepted and before the course or project start
date.
Our payment terms are 30 days (This period may change according to special agreement
established previously with the client).
Dates will only be determined after all the proposal and invoicing process are complete.
We may reserve date(s) and trainer(s), but we will need confirmation and invoicing process
complete up to 3 weeks from course start. Number of courses, classes and attendees defined during the quote process should be
respected during the registration process.
If your company needs to reschedule the event date, you can do it once and all the conditions will be the same. If another change to the dates is required, we may have the need to change the trainer that was allocated.
Timing and costs related to rescheduling issues may vary according to each case. In case you
are booking an event that incurs in costs and you cancel it, these costs will be charged.
Bellow you can find the requirements for events that take place at the facilities provided by our
customers (on-site events).
The purpose of these guidelines is to help to organize and manage an event – training course,
workshop, meetup or other – to ensure the quality of delivery of our services and the well-being
of speakers and attendees.
If any of the following requirements cannot be delivered, please contact us for assistance.
Facilities Management
The customer is responsible for the management and organization of the space/room where the event will take place, according to the requirements. The space/room must have the proper size for the dynamic of the exercises – we advise to be around 1,5m2 per person.
The Customer is responsible for:
- the assembly and arrangement of tables and chairs, according to the setup informed;
- providing a room without materials or equipment belonging to internal employees (computers, personal property, others);
- supporting furniture for the trainer, including table, chair, flipchart (preferred) or whiteboard;
- adequate lighting for the room;
- cleaning the facilities before and after the event;
- providing a projector or TV LCD above 65”;
- supplying wi-fi internet connection;
- other material requested.
We are responsible for informing the customer in advance about the requirements for the event, to allow the customer to fulfill all requirements (approximately 2 weeks prior to the event).
Catering Management
The customer is responsible for providing food and drinks for break times, according to the event’s schedule. If the customer’s internal policy does not allow Catering, the customer must inform us in advance.
Parking
The customer should provide parking lot for the trainer(s).
COMMUNICATIONS WITH ATTENDEES
Every attendee will receive an email, immediately after registering, with the confirmation that
includes our terms and conditions.
A second email will be sent with the joining instructions that are sent at least one week prior to
the event start date.
After the event(s) end date the attendees will be asked to give feedback through our online
survey.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION
A list of what you’ll receive for the course within course joining instructions. The joining instructions are sent at least one week prior to the event start date. If these are not received it may be that the email has been blocked by email providers, please check the junk mail folder and if not received, contact [email protected].
Be able to join our Agile Thinkers Slack Community.
An Agile Thinkers digital certificate of attendance at the end of each event. If an attendee misses more than 20% of the time of the non–certified courses, we will not be able to issue the certificate of attendance.
In case of certified courses, if an attendee fulfils all requisites, he or she will also be getting official certificate according to the course and entity (Kanban University, ICAgile, Scaled Agile, Scrum Alliance, etc).
The attendee will need to attend the full hours of each certified course, absences for more than 1 hour will not be accepted and the attendee may not be considered for certification.
REMOTE TRAINING
Training Remotely | Online Tools
We will be responsible for providing the remote links for the training. We use Zoom for remote
training.
For private events if you require a different tool, please inform our sales advisor in advance. Our
team prefers to work with zoom for pedagogical reasons and strongly believes it offers a much
higher customer experience, but we are able to adapt if zoom is not allowed in your company.
Training Remotely | Guidelines for a Successful Experience
Working agreement and suggestions to encourage the type of team environment that we want
to foster during our event sessions for a remote training course.
BEFORE THE TRAINING STARTS
- Inform your co-workers/colleagues what will be the time you’re attending training, and you shouldn’t be interrupted;
- Look for a comfortable and quiet place to set your training spot;
- Reduce distractions, noises and background interference;
- Test your internet signal and guarantee you have a good connection;
- Please take some time to explore the tools and how to login;
- Visit the toilet 10m before the session starts;
- Stay hydrated;
- Bring a notebook and a pen with you;
- Limit interruptions from family members;
- Make sure you turn off Outlook, Gmail, Slack, WhatsApp, Skype or other sources of interruption;
- If you can, select flight mode on your phone;

Test your earphones.
DURING TRAINING:
- While there are no questions, confirm you are mute;
- Ask for help if you have any questions unmuting yourself or sending a message in chat;
- Use Chat area to address the trainer some questions. As soon as possible, we will give feedback;
- Respect the Time-boxes;
- Be on time so you can deliver on time;
- Don’t accept calls while you’re on training unless is extremely necessary and vital for you;
- Please keep your camera on;
- It’s completely forbidden for students to record audio or video of any kind or take pictures from the sessions without written agreement.
- For training and Quality assurance purpose of our staff, we can record Video, Audio and the Chat of all sessions;

Privacy Policy
By registering for an event, the attendees agree with the terms and conditions.
By registering for an event, the attendees agree subscribing to our newsletter, which they can always cancel later.
By registering for an event, the attendee(s) will be asked on the registration form to agree or not
with the capture of your image and about reference/tag you on our website or social media.
