Traditionally ‘Operations’ is seen as a barrier with lengthy bureaucratic controls and delays in provisioning production systems. DevOps is a growing movement for shortening development and deployment and integrating Development and Operations.
The simulation game is based on the Book "The Phoenix Project" and is based on a serious business simulation where your team will perform in different roles within the organization. You could be Retail Operations, Human Resources or Finance - performing the business functions of the company. Or it could be the VP of IT Operations or other members of your IT team who need to develop the applications and solve the IT issues.
Your challenge is to use DevOps principles and apply them in this Business Simulation where you will work on the IT projects and issues and ensure that "The Phoenix Project" is completed on time. But beware, business keeps coming with new ideas and requirements and external developments outside your control can also throw a wrench in the works.
WHO IS THIS FOR:
This simulation is targeted at all roles and employees in Business, IT Development and IT Operations who want to apply Lean, Agile and ITSM principles to improve the performance of their IT Services or to create more value out of their IT Solutions.
